Puffed rice sticks can be a convenient snack for babies, but please consider the following:
- Age Appropriateness: Consult your pediatrician before introducing any new food to your baby’s diet, especially if they are under one year old.
- Choking Hazard: Puffed rice sticks can pose a choking risk for young children. Always supervise your baby while eating and ensure they are seated safely.
- Nutritional Value: While puffed rice sticks are light and easy to digest, they should not replace balanced meals. Serve as an occasional snack, not a primary food source.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place and ensure they are within the expiry date for quality and safety.

My baby loves this and the size is just right for her tiny hands to hold and munch on! Also great that you can add water to make it porridge cuz you can just take all the random bits leftover to make porridge - which she also loves. Highly recommend!
My sister is pretty strict about clean ingredients for the snacks she gives her kids (a one-year-old and a three-year-old), so this one was a winner for her—with rice as the only ingredient. She did say it looked a little plain, but the kids couldn’t get enough of it and devoured half a bag in one sitting. Maybe Japan rice more oishii. idk. but happy kids, happy life.
